Alage ATVET College is located about 217 kilometers south of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The College consists of four departments: animal science, animal health, plant science, and natural resource development, which are located in campuses accommodating about 1500 trainees each. The facilities include a dormitory, cafeteria, classrooms along with practical working and demonstration sites. Areas of training include: dairy product processing, swine, poultry, sheep and goat production, fish, apiculture, fruit and vegetable, field crops, forage and sericulture and a veterinary clinic.
