Adolfo Ibáñez University is an academic community, non-profit, born of the Business School of Valparaiso. It was created in 1953 by the Adolfo Ibáñez Foundation, and constituted a university in 1988. Its main mission is to deliver an education that, based on freedom and personal responsibility, allows its students to develop their full intellectual and human potential. To achieve this, the UAI assumes the commitment to impart professional training with high academic standards, contribute to expanding the frontiers of knowledge through high level research and transfer this knowledge for the benefit of society. By 2019, the University has a total of 7,661 undergraduate students studying 12 different careers and 3,365 postgraduate students distributed in 50 master's degrees and 7 doctoral programs. The University currently has three campuses in the country and, additionally, a headquarters in the city of Lima, where postgraduate programs for professionals are developed.
